Years 7 – 12
Secondary students in Years 7 – 12 develop their ability to be analytical and critical thinkers, applying abstract thought, skills and knowledge to the world in which they live.
Our Secondary students are grouped in three distinct Learning Communities, where their learning and activities are tailored to the different developmental needs of each cohort:
- Nurture: Year 7 & 8 Learning Community
- Evolve: Year 9 & 10 Learning Community
- Nexus: Year 11 & 12 Learning Community
Connectedness is promoted between and across year levels through activities and support programs. Students are encouraged to work collaboratively with their peers, increasing their capacity for interpersonal development in the areas of empathy and compassion.

Secondary Curriculum Overview
Curriculum in Nurture is authentic, interesting and relevant, designed to engage active learning. We encourage challenging and relevant education, knowing that learning happens when students experience both success and challenge.
In Evolve students choose from a wide variety of elective subjects including Languages, Arts, Technologies, Health, Sciences, and Commerce. The focus is on empowering life-long learning to support student growth in independence. Additional learning opportunities are offered beyond the classroom, focused on character development and encouraging students to be thoughtful, productive and engaged members of their community. An opportunity is provided to invited Year 10 students based on academic excellence to take one VCE subject.
In Nexus, we offer both VCE and VCE VM (Vocational Major) pathways with a range of subjects across all faculty areas. Engaging in the career development process is an integral part of the senior school program. Students explore pathway options related to their areas of interest so that they can make informed decisions about their future and understand the steps required to achieve their goals.
