Vocational Pathways Coordinator
Geelong Lutheran College is seeking a passionate and organised Vocational Pathways Coordinator to lead the development and implementation of our VCE Vocational Major and VET programs within a supportive Christian learning environment.
This leadership role reports to the Executive Principal via the Director of Teaching and Learning (Secondary) and works closely with the Head of Secondary and Pathways Coordinator to ensure a collaborative and student-focused approach to vocational education.
With 200 core staff and additional casual team members across our St John’s and Armstrong Creek campuses, we work collaboratively to create positive learning environments. We are committed to attracting and retaining high-quality academic and corporate staff who share our passion for education.
Position Details

- Teaching load includes Vocational Major subjects as well as Humanities and Health
- Commencing mid-Term 2, 2026
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the College’s VCE Vocational Major program
- Coordinate VET programs, student enrolments, and work placements
- Build strong partnerships with RTOs, industry, and community organisations
- Support students in developing personalised vocational pathways
- Ensure compliance with VCAA and VET requirements
- Work collaboratively with staff to support senior pathways and student outcomes
The successful applicant will demonstrate:
- Strong organisational and leadership skills
- Experience with VCE Vocational Major and/or VET programs (preferred)
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- A commitment to student wellbeing and pathway success

Library Technician (Part-Time)
Geelong Lutheran College is seeking a passionate and organised Library Technician (Part-Time) to support the creation of vibrant, inclusive, and welcoming library environments across our campuses. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with students, promoting literacy, and supporting learning through engaging library services and resources.

About the Role
The Library Technician supports students and staff by managing
library resources, promoting literature, and maintaining welcoming learning
spaces. This role requires strong organisational skills, initiative, and the
ability to collaborate effectively with staff across the College. Some student
supervision may be required, and duties may evolve to meet the needs of the
College.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist students and staff in accessing library resources and technologies
- Maintain and manage print and digital library collections
- Promote reading and literature across a range of genres and formats
- Create engaging displays and support library events
- Manage circulation, shelving, bookings, and general library administration
- Support digital platforms including Oliver, ClickView, and LearnPath
- Maintain welcoming, organised, and inclusive library spaces
- Collaborate with staff to support curriculum and student learning

- A strong interest in children’s and young adult literature
- Excellent organisational and communication skills

Qualifications and Experience
- Relevant library qualification or experience (highly regarded)
- Experience in a school library setting (desirable)
- Familiarity with IB PYP (advantageous)
- Current Working with Children Check
- Current Police Check
- First Aid Level 1 (or willingness to obtain)
