Head of College recognised

The Geelong Lutheran College community is delighted to celebrate our Head of College Jill Lange-Mohr becoming a recipient of the Order of Australia Medal.
Ms Lange-Mohr was acknowledged, as part of Australia Day honours, for services to education.
“I am delighted that the importance of education is honoured,” Ms Lange-Mohr said.
“Education is the currency of the future; it gives our children the opportunity to do whatever they want to do.”
Prior to her appointment as Head of College at GLC, Ms Lange-Mohr was the Founding Principal at St Peters Lutheran College Springfield (Brisbane) after serving in various senior leadership positions at Martin College in the private tertiary sector.
The accolade comes as Ms Lange-Mohr prepares to lead both St John’s Newtown and Armstrong campuses into another year of growth.
“It’s such an exciting year for us, 2020, with having over 1000 students across both campuses with Kindergarten to Year 12,” Ms Lange-Mohr said.
