GLC represented at Geelong Show

GLC Armstrong Creek was well represented by our talented primary art and secondary music students at this year's Royal Geelong Show.

We are thrilled to share that our Primary Art Display took out first place in the Primary School Between 200 - 400 Students Art division! The display featured selected artworks from students in Prep, Year 1, Year 5, and a collaborative piece by the Year 6 cohort.

On the Friday, the GLC Armstrong Creek Secondary Band also performed at the Geelong Show. Starting the performance with ‘It’s My Life’ by Bon Jovi the band quickly drew in a crowd. The 11 performers played from 6.15- 6.30pm at the Motor Pavilion that opens up to the Arena. Students demonstrated their ability to perform with confidence and enthusiasm as they performed songs such as ‘Don’t Look Back In Anger’, ‘Eye Of The Tiger’ and ‘Crazy Little Thing Called Love’. The band will perform again at our final Music Concert of the year on 23 November.
