Celebrating National Science Week

National Science Week has just wrapped up, and our Armstrong Creek students were able to take part in different lunchtime activities throughout the week.

Celebrating the theme of ‘glass’, they investigated reflections and density by making kaleidoscopes and sugar rainbows, baked stain glass window biscuits, looked at how light can be manipulated with microscopes and light boxes, and used glass jars to make lava lamps.

It was a great opportunity for students to sample activities they wouldn’t normally experience in the classroom.
