GLC Armstrong Creek Year 8 students stepped back in time for this year’s Medieval Day, following weeks of
preparation in Humanities lessons.
The day began with a skit by their teachers, before students rotated through various activities that explored medieval life, including: cooking, catapult building, arts and crafts, a scavenger hunt and even jousting (with pool noodles).
In the afternoon, our students brought their learning to life at the Medieval Fare in Dhurrung. Working in small groups, they ran their own stalls, representing medieval professions with games, goods and interactive displays, allowing them to share their research with staff and their fellow students.
