We’re getting excited for the new GLC St John's Newtown Playground that will be installed later this year.

Recently, P+F members Katie, Adam and Katie, with the help of a few students, presented the College with a cheque to represent the P+F Committee’s contribution of $10,000 to the project from their fundraising efforts. A big thank you to the P+F and all families who have taken part in recent P+F fundraisers. 

Ideas for the playground came from last year’s SRC, who played an instrumental role in the project’s design phase. The new playground has been designed to cater for students of all ages, with the large dome climbing structure being a highlight for many of the students involved in the design process. 

The new playground is expected to be ready for students to slide, climb and play on around the middle of the year.
