We love to celebrate the rich diversity of languages spoken in our GLC community and celebrated these throughout Week 2 as part of Languages at both campuses.

GLC St John's Newtown students in 5CW were excited to share the languages spoken by themselves, their parents or grandparents. Our multilingual students proudly shared their language skills with their classmates, fostering connection and appreciation across our learning environment.

During Pastoral time throughout the week at GLC Armstrong Creek, classes discussed what non-English languages our students speak at home with their families and learned as many words as possible in another language as part of our Education Perfect House Competition.

Some of our multi-lingual Armstrong Creek students also took part in a dedicated Languages Week video talking our College Values of Wisdom, Honour and Purpose in another language. You can watch the video below:
