Congratulations to the Class of 2025

Whether it began in Kindergarten, Prep, Year 7, or even Year 11, last week marked the conclusion of our Year 12s' time as students of Geelong Lutheran College.

This major milestone in the lives of these students and their families was celebrated across two very special days, which were full of smiles, laughter and the occasional tear.

Their final day on Friday 18 October began with the annual costume parade and concluded with a final assembly and Guard of Honour by our Prep to Year 11 students. This is always a special moment for all our GLC Armstrong Creek students and staff, and we were blessed to be joined by many of the Year 12 families for the occasion as well.

The Year 12s and their families then returned to the campus on Monday 20 October for their formal Valedictory Service. As each student walked across the stage to receive their certificates and gift, a citation of their time at GLC and their aspirations for the future was read out. The graduates then had their stoles turn by a mentor of their choosing to symbolically represent their graduation from Secondary School.

The evening concluded with parents, students and staff enjoying canapes and refreshments at Mt Duneed Estate, before the students and staff retired for the Valedictory Dinner.

Thank you to everyone who attended these special events. We wish the graduating Class of 2025 God's blessings as they now prepare for their final exams.
