A wonderful opportunity exists for a skilled and passionate teacher of English/Humanities to join the team at Geelong Lutheran College, Armstrong Creek. The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic educator who can complement our dedicated team.

We are seeking a part time 0.7 FTE Years 8-9 English/Humanities Teacher for Term 4. Both experienced and graduate teachers are encouraged to apply.

The successful applicant will support the ethos of the College, possess excellent teaching and interpersonal skills, will have an exceptional understanding of innovative educational pedagogy, and show an understanding of teaching and learning practices.

A vacancy for the position of College Chaplain has occurred due to our Pastor moving to a new role of Pastor of Formation and Ministry at LEVNT from the beginning of 2023. 

An expression of interest in a full-time Chaplain role, who may be a Pastor or Lay Person, in our College community is welcomed. 

This is a key role at the College and their primary focus is to have responsibility for:

 ·    ministry in the College through worship,

·     faith formation,

·     leadership in the Christian Studies program, Prep – Year 12, through the Lutheran Education AustraliaChristian Studies Curriculum Framework and

·     the pastoral care of staff.

 The closing date for applications is 3.00 pm Thursday 8 September.
