Executive Assistant

We are currently seeking a dedicated and highly organised Executive Assistant to support the Executive Principal and Business Manager in the daily operations of the College. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth and efficient management of the Executive Principal’s office, working closely with the Executive Team, College Board, and various stakeholders to uphold the College’s mission and values.

 The Executive Assistant is responsible for the Administration team.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative and executive support to the Executive Principal and Business Manager, including diary management, drafting correspondence, and coordinating meetings.
  • Prepare and manage documentation for internal and external meetings, ensuring timely distribution and accurate record-keeping.
  • Serve as Minute Secretary for the College Board and Executive Team, handling agendas, minutes, and meeting logistics.
  • Leads and manages the Administration team in a cohesive, effective, organised and pro-active manner.

This covers these areas:

  • Student Services
  • First Aid
  • Academic Administration
  • Reception
  • Ensure compliance with the College’s Child Safety and Wellbeing Policy and Child Safety Code of Conduct.

 Key Selection Criteria:

  • Must have at least 5 years’ experience working as a Personal or Executive Assistant to a Senior person within a company, preferably either from the Corporate or Education Sector.
  • Previous experience in a school environment is an advantage, a Certificate III in Business Administration would be highly regarded.
  • Exceptional level of ICT skills including Microsoft Office suite and experience in the use of databases.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively, meet tight deadlines within a pressured environment and think analytically to solve complex problems.
  • Skill in working collaboratively with a range of needs and interests towards agreed outcomes.
  • Highly effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exemplary standards of personal integrity, honesty and interpersonal skills. In addition, they will also need to demonstrate a commitment to personal professional development.

 Position Details:

  • Full-time position
  • 7 weeks leave (1 week leave non-term time, 4 weeks annual leave over Christmas break)

Requirements:

  • Valid Working with Children Card (WWCC)
  • National Police Check
  • First Aid Certificate
