Secondary Teacher - Part-time contract
Geelong Lutheran College is seeking a dynamic and passionate individual to join our team as a part-time Art and English Teacher on a short term contract in Term 1.
In this part-time contracted position position you will be required to teach:
- Year 12 Art and Creative Practice
- Year 10 Art
- Year 8 Art
- Year 8 English
We are committed to providing a creative and engaging learning environment that fosters both artistic expression and language proficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver effective art and English lessons for students.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to enhance the overall educational experience.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Art, English, or a related field.
- Strong artistic skills and a passion for both art and language education.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience:
- Previous teaching experience preferred but not required.
- Experience with diverse student populations is a plus.
