VCAL Charity Drive

Our VCAL students have partnered with The Salvation Army to hold a Pop-Up Op Shop on Friday 12 August.

The purpose of this event is to help raise awareness of the issue of homelessness and to raise some funds towards supporting those in need.

Secondary students are encouraged to bring clothing donations to Student Services at the Armstrong Creek campus. This is a secondary school only event so clothing donations and sales are for this cohort, so please ensure clothing is appropriate for ages 12-18 years. Please ensure these clothes are in good condition and washed.

What can I donate?

The best things to donate are things that you would be happy to keep wearing yourself, but just don’t need anymore. Such as jumpers, pants, t-shirts, shirts, shorts, jackets etc.

What can’t I donate?

It costs The Salvation Army millions of dollars each year to dispose of unsellable items. Please DO NOT donate shoes or anything that is damaged, ripped, stained or in any way faulty. As a simple rule, if there’s something wrong with it then we can’t sell it.
