Congratulations to all of our students who hit the stage in this year’s Geelong Music Performance Festival.  Verity (5/6A) and Ava (3/4A) performed on flute amid an absolute sea of clarinet players and a couple of saxophonists.  Liam (7B) and Harrison (8B) performed in the Piano section, with Evie (12) singing a rousing rendition of Elvis’ Can’t Help Falling In Love and her busking favourite, Lost by Camp Cope.

The Performance Choir rehearses on Thursday mornings from 8am until 8.45am in the Music/Drama classroom, G1.  The choir are an extremely passionate and enthusiastic group of singers, who enjoy rehearsing and performing together. They work on a wide range of repertoire from various genres during our weekly rehearsals as well as vocal technique and stagecraft skills. This ensemble is directed by Anna Helmer and anyone from Years 7 to 12 is welcome to join.
