Don’t forget we will be marking National Science Week on Tuesday, 13 August.

This will entail: National Science Week, Destination Moon: More Missions, More Science and the 50th anniversary of man’s first walk on the surface of the moon.

RSVP’s have been received and we are now expecting 300 people representing 94 families to attend the Armstrong Creek Gymnasium on Tuesday, 13 August from 7.00 – 9.00 pm.’Monash High Powered Rocketry’ is a student team, comprising passionate space enthusiasts from Monash University. Families will hear about their activities and be guided by them to construct and then launch their own rocket, weather permitting.

A free sausage sizzle will be available.
